How we handle your data on hostel.ma.
We don’t sell your data, we don’t run third-party ad trackers, and we don’t require an account. The site uses one privacy-friendly analytics tool to count page views, and affiliate links set a single cookie from Hostelworld or Booking.com only when you click them.
Aggregated, anonymised visit data: page URL, device type (mobile / desktop), referrer, country. No IP addresses are stored, no browser fingerprints are built, and nothing links back to you as an individual. If you subscribe to our newsletter, we store only your email address and your language choice, held with our email provider.
When you click a "Book on Hostelworld" or "Book on Booking.com" link, that partner sets an attribution cookie on their domain so they can credit us if you book. We never see it. You can block these at any time in your browser settings without affecting the price you pay.
You can request deletion of any email we hold about you at hello@hostel.ma. Under GDPR (EU), UK GDPR, CCPA (California) and Moroccan Law 09-08 on personal data protection, you have the right to access, correct or delete your data at any time. We respond within 30 days.
